Happy 4 Months Savannah!!!!

We celebrated Savannah's 4 months!!!!

No way!!! Woo Hoo!

What I can't eat any?

Oh! I'll get it from my milk!

Dear Savannah,

Another month has passed and you have grown so much since last month!

This month:

• You weigh 15.6 lbs and are 26 1/4" tall
• You are starting to grab your bottle and try to put it in your eye though most of the time you hit your eyes and you tend to put the nipple and a few fingers in your mouth when you drink
• You like to make bubbles and stick your tongue out
• When you're laying down you try to lift your head so you could sit up
• You went to your first pumpkin patch and picked out a pumpkin
• You've gotten so strong that you are able to sit in your seat saucer and jumper...you love all your new stationary toys
• On tummy time you can lift your head and when you have the energy you can lift your chest
• You started to roll over...but you love rolling to your left
• You attended your first Church Service
• You had your first Halloween...you dressed up as a Ladybug and we went trick or treating at the mall and around our neighborhood!
• You went to the Long Beach Aquarium for the first time and fell in love with the jelly fishes and clown fishes
• You experienced the River for the first time and did amazing on the car and boat ride!
• You used to sleep through the night but have recently been waking up once to have a bottle around 3:30 in the morning
• You tend to love going #2 when we put you in the carseat!

You and Daddy still love to play the "I got your legs"...but your newest thrill is being an airplane where your legs are wrapped around his waist and he holds your waist and you 'fly'. You fall asleep in his arms at night when you are watching tv. You love it when Daddy takes you in your play area and you play with a teddy bear that lights up...it's your special moments with him.

You keep Mommy on her toes...you used to nap in 3 hours intervals and now you go anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hour naps. At night when you are at your fussiest moment you only want Mommy to hold you and calm you down...Daddy gets a little sad but Mommy hands you back over when you're all okay. Mommy has been researching like crazy on how to make your babyfood and the Doctor gave us the green light to start solids!!! Mommy has kept up her milk supply and you are still 100% breastfed...you also surprise Mommy and Daddy at night when you demand more food! Mommy loves to kiss your feet during diaper changes and you loved to get kissed...and estatic when we have a tickle fest!

Socks has never been so overprotective over you...during our river trip anyone (or dog) that tried to come near you she would block you and bark at them. She even stood in front of our bedroom to make sure no one would come in! She loves watching everything that has to do with you (though she stopped waking up for the 3:30 am feeding). You are so aware of her now and love it when she comes up to you and you two have a staring contest.

People still stop us everyday and they love to comment on your 'gorgeous' hair. I have even had people ask if it's real or if it's a wig! You absolutely love the attention and flash them a smile which makes people even more happier. When people talk to you, you surprise them by speaking back...you've even coincidentally said "Hi!!!" back to a few (who were in total shock!).

We love that you are only 4 months old and have experienced so much already! You love going to places and you love people! Later this month we will probably try solid foods which will be a whole new world to all of us...we love how everyday is different and how much you've shown us that the simplest things in life like your sweet smile can make our whole day!
