This week we decided to start Savannah on her solids...so we had to wash all her equipment to start making her food.
Savannah is also obessesd with grabbing her feet...at first it was just her knees...but now she's moved onto her feet
She loves doing it during her diaper changes!
I put down Savannah to play and a few minutes later I was curious as to why she was so quiet...Sweet little girl fell asleep while she was playing on her floor jungle gym :)
We visited Long Beach to help Kuya Flo with his school project and pick up our high chair...Ate Sammy was a blast to play with!
Trying out her new high chair!
Thanks Ate Sammy for letting me have your high chair!
On Thursday was a big day for all of us...We made Savannah's first solids!!! I've been doing a lot of reading and we decided that brown rice would be our first. We got some organice brown rice and tried out the baby bullet for the first time. I had a blast making them and we got 16 servings out of it! and what's even better is that we didn't even spend $1.00 on it! SCORE!
She loved it!
Daddy! I love it!
Mom, you should try this out!
I want more!
Topping it off with a nice bottle of breastmilk!

I woke up to Neal and Savannah holding hands :)
Socks "Mom! We're trying to sleep!"
Since she took brown rice really well...after our 3 day of testing them out we moved onto peas! These were a little easier to make and I got to use the Baby Bullet Steamer for the first time...that thing is awesome and it's perfect for our own meals too!
YUM!
You got more over there???
Delicious (while tapping fingers)
Dove right in for the spoon

On Sunday morning we got ready to go to Long Beach and found Savannah and Neal relaxing...

We had a playdate with Broc and Mila...we had a lovely lunch at Peppino's and shopped around a little after :)
On Thursday we started a 4 week session of Baby Yoga at Milkalicious in Aliso Viejo...here she is in her first yoga outfit!
At first she was very interested...
She was a happy yoga-er
until we actually started doing yoga! She absolutely HATED it!!! Every time the instructor would speak...she would whine, cry or arch her back. So I would take her out to the front and she'd be fine...so I took her back in and she would do the same thing...so we went back outside...this went on for about 30 minutes!!! All she wanted to do was talk to the ladies at the front desk! I gave up and we packed up our things before she threw the biggest hissy fit ever public! I was sweating so much!!! Our little social butterfly was not a fan of yoga (i guess she took after me...i was never a fan either). I felt so bad that I took her to the mall and she was all smiles there!!! Thankfully I hadn't paid for the classes...she likes walking around and talking much better!
Lolo Andy got these dresses for her...they're absolutely adorable!
Savannah talking to Papa & Mama
On Friday she had her 4 months check up
She weighs a healthy 15.6 lbs...and is the 76%-ile
She is also 26 1/4" tall (98%-ile) and her head circumference is 16 1/2" (73%-ile)
The doctor said she looks healthy and great! She has a little eczema which she unfortunately inherited from me...but the doctor gave us some cetaphil to try to keep it down. The doctor also gave us the green light to start solids
She had no idea that she had shots coming! She didn't cry with the first shot but realized she was being poked at the second one. She cried for a few seconds but was easily soothed. She was all smiles after :)
Our next appointment is in January 2012...it was weird when the nurses said "Have a good Holiday!"...it's that time of year already???
Here are some photos from her 4 months photoshoot
Celebrating 4 months!
Socks was tired from all the festivities!
On Friday we also celebrated Wes' 26th birthdy with Boiling Crab at home!
Here is Socks and Siopao waiting for scraps on the floor
Happy Birthday Uncle Wes!
A Happy Crab :)
On Saturday, we went to a Baby Fair at Saddleback Hospital. It was a nice morning-rainy activity to do!
There were lots of people and babies! It was a small room and all the strollers didn't help either!
Woke up from her nap just in time to have fun at the fair!
Waiting to see if we won the raffle (we didn't but we got free giveaways!)
I love how Neal and Savannah's hair have the same height and volume!
We walked around to all the vendors...i think the most interesting one was the Lawyer who talked about Trusts/Wills...got us thinking too! We might go to her workshop next week to get more info.
There was also Snow White that was walking around and as you can see she loves Disney already!
Santa was also there and she told Santa what she wanted for Christmas!
Family picture with Santa! We got our Christmas gift in July!!! :)
We also had a delicious lunch at Inka Grill (Peruvian)...as usual she went to sleep and let Mommy and Daddy eat and have a nice lunch date :)
Later that afternoon we went to Long Beach to celebrate a wedding. They currently rent out my parent's old house and chose my Mom to be a Ninang.
We then went to Lola's house to prep for the Manny Pacquiao fight and had a surprise visit from Alec! Lola babysat him when he was only a few weeks old til he went to school. Lola was VERY happy and excited to see him!
Here are the Espiritus...Lola also watched Amanda as a baby...can't believe they're all grown up!
Socks ready for the fight!

And the second room (the quiet room! haha) ready to watch the fight as well!
Manny won the fight again and we had a blast at the Cemania/Sidamon House...can't wait to come back for more food!
On Sunday we got ready for an evening at the Emerys to meet more family members!
I'm ready to go guys!
