Savannah's 27 weeks

Earlier this week we celebrated Savannah's 6 months

She loves the camera!

She's still obsessed with her toes..here she is showing them off to Socks again

Socks is such a good Big Sister...she lets Savannah play with her dog tag...after a minute or so Socks looks up at me asking for help!

They love tummy time together...Savannah is curious about Socks' paws...but Socks is not amused!

"See Mom, I'm just petting her!"- Savannah
Notice how Socks is "sleeping" with one eye open!

"I love her so much!" Savannah
"I can't get any sleep around here" Socks

Wassssssup???

Mommy, look at my pretty eyelashes!

Celebrating Savannah's 6 months

Savannah at her 6 months well-check
She weighed in at 18.5 lbs (85%)
She's 27 1/4" long (93%)

Waiting for the doctor

Savannah had a little too much fun with the paper...it was like Christmas all over again!
The doctor was quite impressed with her paper tearing skills...she said she usually don't see kids do that til they're about 9 months! woo hoo she's so advanced in paper tearing!

We also got her ears pierced!

On Saturday, Savannah got to meet her cousin Blake
He's a little over a month older than her

Comparing thigh rolls...I think Savannah wins!

This is Savannah's new talent...scrunching up her nose and laughing!

We also all went to the outlets at Citadel

Baby girl all smiles!

They ended they day by having play time on the floor and they both did great!

Such a happy baby!

On Sunday, we went to Disneyland with Grandpa and Grandma

Excited for the parade to start

Playing with Grandpa

She loved the music, bright colors, dancing, characters and floats!

We then had dinner at Jazz Kitchen at Downtown Disney. We tried to do the high chair but she's not quite ready to be in it yet! She had fun sitting on our laps during a nice dinner!

Happy 6 months Savannah!!!!!!

Today we celebrated Savannah's 6 months!

"Gimme some!"

"Hi! I'm 6 Months old today!"

"I'm liking the tiramisu!"

"I can't wait to eat this!"

"YUM, it's so good!"

"The tiramisu is sooooo talking to me!"

Dear Savannah,

We are so amazed on how fast half a year has gone by! Today, you are 6 months old!
This month:
  • You weigh 18.5 pounds (85%), you are 27 1/4" tall (93%) and your head circumference is 17 1/4" (89%)
  • You had your first pear
  • You roll around like a little rolly polly
  • You love to sit forward facing in the stroller
  • You went to Sea World and enjoyed Shamu
  • You went to San Diego twice
  • You celebrated 3 Christmas'
  • You opened your first presents
  • You like to grab onto the side of your crib and peek through and smile at us
  • You celebrated your first New Year
  • You went to Disneyland for the first time
  • You rode the carousel, It's a Small world and the Storybook ride, but your favorite is the tram ride
  • You went to the snow and went sledding
  • You know your name
  • You love to eat with your fingers in your mouth
  • You are beginning to teeth
  • You like to nap and sit up right when you wake up
  • You like to turn around and see who's holding you
  • You "sing", "hum" and grunt yourself to sleep
  • You love to play peek-a-boo and laugh hysterically
  • You prefer to sleep on your side and if you had it your way, Mommy or Daddy would be snuggled right next to you
You love to go on Daddy's shoulders...you love seeing the world almost 6 feet higher! You and Daddy still struggle during meal times and Mommy usually has to step in and finish feeding you. You just love to play with Daddy and have giggle fests with him. You recognize his voice when he comes up the stairs from work and get really excited! You always flash him your beautiful smile! You and Daddy still have your special time going to sleep...you love falling asleep in his arms. We've also taken you to Disneyland a few times and Daddy absolutely loves telling you about everything around us and has a blasts taking you on rides. I think you'll be a golfer cause you two love to play golf on the Wii. Daddy always has you in hs arms while he plays golf and you love being in his arms and watching the ball!

Mommy is relieved that she is at the halfway mark of breastfeeding. We are having so much fun playing together and I really feel we have a bond. You love to sit on my lap, turn around, flash me a smile and climb on me to give me a hug and nuzzle your face in my mine. We love going on our mini field trips and you still think the carseat is your toilet...Mommy is ALWAYS cleaning you up in public restrooms or in the back of the car!

Socks is a little sad that you really don't spit up anymore! But she loves you more and more everyday. You are starting to grab onto her face, ears and paws and she doesn't put up a fight. She just looks up at Mommy asking for help! You two love to play in the morning when you first wake up. You love to roll around and she imitates you and you roll around together! Oddly, she knows how to pet you. There are times when we are all on the couch and you are on Mommy's lap and Socks is next to us and while we watch "Your Baby Can Read" you have one hand petting Socks. She gets a little sad when we leave her out and we play in your play area...so she settles watching from the couch!

People still comment about your hair and doll-like features...but recently we've been getting comments about how beautiful your smile is and how you're such a happy baby. When people come up to us you instantly flash them your big smile which melts them into pieces! You are a people lover and love to entertain little old ladies that want to talk to you!

6 months have flown by and soon enough you'll be 1! You are an amazing baby and we love you to pieces! You are developing into your own personality and we can't wait to see all the memories you are going to give us!

Love,
Mommy & Daddy

Savannah's 26 weeks

On Monday we went to Disneyland for the morning and I think the tram ride is still Savannah's favorite!

About to enter "It's A Small World"

She was amazed by all the dolls, lights and songs!

Sensory overload!

On Thursday, we went back to Disneyland...it was our last chance to see the Holiday decorations at night

We finally were able to capture how Savannah puts herself to sleep. I think it's her version of singing!

We came at a perfect time cause when we walked onto Main St., they were lighting up the castle and little snowflakes came falling down!
Even on a Thursday night...the line for clam chowder was so long! And waiting for an open table was even more nerve wrecking...but it was so good it was worth the wait!

We also rode "Story Book"??? I'm not even sure what it's called...but it's the one with the blue whale. This was honestly so boring i'm suprised it's still at Disneyland!

We left just in time to catch the fireworks!

On Saturday, we celebrated Noah's baptism in Aliso Viejo

It's been really fun getting the kids all together
We just keep growing and growing!

We then had an amazing lunch at Javier's in Newport Beach

Katelyn, Samantha and Madelynn

Next year, Savannah will be a fan of the group huddle!

For now...she'll enjoy the little ones...Audrey and Noah

We had a delicious 3 course meal including one of my favorites desserts...Deep Fried Ice Cream! YUM!

On Sunday, we went to Church in Long Beach to remember Nanay's 5th year death anniversary...we then all went to the cemetary to visit her

Auntie Ellen then treated us to a lunch at the Marriott in Long Beach
The buffet line

Savannah loved being in Lolo Big Tummy's arms! Everytime someone tried to take her she would lean back into him! :)

During the weekend we also started looking at new cars.
It's hard to believe that this little girl would need so much space but the time has come that we need to invest in a bigger car for the future!

I really loved our GLK! We've only had it for 2 years and it's been an amazing car!

We've narrowed it down to 3: Honda Pilot, GMC Acadia, or the Chevy Traverse
So far, Savannah has enjoyed playing in the Pilot...but then again she took a dump at GMC and since she loves going #2 in the car...could it be a sign??? :)
We ended the week off by laughing our bums off...here's Savannah on how much she is so aware of the camera and making sure she's always smiling!

I never knew Peek-a-Boo would be so much fun! Her giggles and laughter makes our hearts melt every time!
