Happy 3 Months Savannah!!!

Tonight we celebrated Savannah's 3 months!

She just woke up from a nap...

But realized that it was time to celebrate!

So excited for cake!

There's her "eyebrow acknowledgement" look

Dear Savannah,
This last month has flown by...today you are 3 months old!
Some milestones you have reached this month are:
  • You love to twirl your hair with your fingers
  • You can see people across the room
  • You still hate tummy time
  • You outgrew Stage 1 diapers and moved onto Stage 2
  • You have outgrown all of your 0-3 months clothing and need to wear 6 month pants and onesies
  • You love talking in the morning and after every nap
  • You like to nod at people when they talk to you...as if you are acknowledging them
  • You love to give big smiles and sweet giggles when someone smiles at you
  • You discovered your hands and are starting to tap and grab at toys
  • You started sleeping through the night
  • You don't want to be nursed anymore
  • You recognize Socks and once you notice her moving you can't take your eyes off of her
You love it when Daddy gets home and you give him the biggest smile ever. Daddy loves to play the "I got your legs...I got your legs" with you and you absolutely love it! You and Daddy have a lot of the same facial expressions (especially in the eyebrows!) Daddy made associate this month at work...he deserves it so much! He is an amazing Dad, Husband, family-man and worker...you are so lucky to have him as a Dad.

Mommy is a little sad that you no longer want to breastfeed from her...but she's doing her best to pump around the clock so that you can have the best breastmilk! We go on field trips almost everyday...whether it be walking around the neighborhood, grocery store, Target or mall...and we've really gotten the use of packing things up and going. Everyday we work on developing your skills...whether it be teaching you objects around us or letting you explore with toys through touch and visualization. We love to take naps in the bed together :)

Socks has been an amazing sister. She had a seizure earlier this month and you were so patient through it all. You didn't cry one second and gazed at her while it was happening while Mommy and Daddy were helping Socks out. In return, she is protective over you and loves to be by your side. Right now we're dealing with teaching Socks whats her toys and what's yours...but she's slowly understanding. She's no longer afraid of your farts or burps...in fact when you make these noises she looks up at Mommy like "Savannah needs you...go check on her". You recently can recognize her and watch her walk across the room...and she wags her tail every time we come back home...she sniffs your carseat wondering where have you been!

Someone everyday stops us to comment on your full-set of hair and how much you look like a doll! We've met a few babies this month and you're coming out to be more than average in height and weight! We are slowly transitioning out of newborn/infant objects (carriers, clothes, etc) but you are also slowly taking over our house! Since you are more interested in things we have brought out more toys and need to make you a play area! Our guess is by next month you have taken over the whole second floor! But it's okay cause we're loving every second of it!

Love,
Mommy & Daddy
