Savannah's 5 Weeks

Savannah watching and listening to her mobile...she's starting to really focus on objects and sounds now :)

Earlier this week Auntie Maggie came to visit and took us out to lunch. It was also my first time out with the baby without Neal. I was a little nervous but the little girl did great!

She's in there somewhere!

We even had a few minutes to check out Ross!

This Auntie Mags favorite picture..."I accept your challenge!"

On Wednesday we went to the OC Fair. It was pretty ridiculous trying to find parking...it took almost 30 minutes!

She slept as always!

Daddy got to treat himself to a nice cool beer.

It was nice to get out and go on a little family date :)

On Thursday we celebrated Savannah turning a month old!

On Friday we did our usual Spectrum field trip for Socks.

We also hung out on the porch cause it was so hot!

Lolo Napo came to meet her too...thanks for the gift!

This morning I found Socks sleeping like this...

Can't believe they're almost the same size!

LOVE mornings like this!

UPDATES:
I can't believe we have made it to a month. On her 1 month we got the call that her newborn photos were ready to be picked up. We had a blast eating her cake and looking through all our photos! Savannah has been such a sweet girl and is getting bigger and bigger everyday. We have really gotten to know each other and we are starting to recognize what her cries mean...(though she doesn't really cry that much!) We have gotten really comfortable going to places and she's done amazingly well!

I unfortunately am still having a hard time with recovery. I came down with another infection and UTI and is on antibiotics again. Hopefully this is the last of it and we can all move on from here!

We're pretty excited about this week...we have more family coming in from up north and Savannah gets to meet more cousins! It is also Neal's birthday week...it's the BIG 3-0!!! Can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

Love this video! It's of Savannah when she first woke up :)
