"Drunk" Pregnant Woman

I got lucky today and got to have lunch with Neal. He's been working so much in LA lately that we never really get to have lunch together anymore. We decided to meet at Inka Grill in Costa Mesa....one of our favorite restaurants that we used to live across from.
But first I will say that since we've been trying to have a baby we both have been really trying to eat a little healthier with the occassional going out or cheering up. The second I found I was pregnant I totally changed my diet and luckily I haven't really been missing the old stuff we used to eat but has been actually craving fruits, vegetables and milk!
This is my typical menu for the day VS before where I would skip breakfast, have a venti starbucks coffee, a bad lunch and a huge dinner with snacking on chips or candy. It's been an easy transition (not to mention, Neal is a good police to get all my vitamins and protein in!) and hopefully I can keep it up.

But for some reason I was SOOO excited to have lunch with Neal that I totally went for it.
Neal ordered the Arroz con pollo.

And I got the Chicken Saltado. I poured the Aji sauce alllllllll over the plate that Neal's eyes practically popped out.

I even said something along the line of "I don't think Baby is gonna like all this spicy food". Half way through my plate Neal kept slipping in the comment that I've eaten more than I usually do with this plate. I quietly ignored him and ENJOYED the rice and fries. And even sprinkled a little more Aji sauce. But then suddenly...I got sooooo tired. When it was time to go back to work...I could barely walk! I felt like I could seriously crawl under the table and fall asleep. I had half my eyes open and had to have Neal escort me out. He whispered "Babe, walk straight...you look like you're drunk!"
I seriously couldn't walk in a straight line to the car! Neal said, "Babe, you need to wake up...there might be cops around and they might think you're drunk!" I can't believe that in 30 seconds I went from talking a mile and minute to being food-comatose/drunk-sleepy woman! When I got back to work my coworker saw me and said "You look so pale!!!". I decided to take a power nap and it seemed to help. But NEVER again will I indulge in food that will knock me into sleep or make me look like a drunk! Again, this baby is working overtime and is just making me sooooooooooooo tired! sooooo not use to it! It's weird that I can't make myself stay up 10 mins past 8:30...this baby already has a mind of its own! =D
