Dear Savannah,

    You are almost at your 21 week mark and Daddy and I must say that we are so in love with you already! We spent the first 20 weeks taking care of you in my tummy and going to multiple appointments to make sure you would be safe. On our last appointment the doctor told us that you are a little girl...she asked us what we were going to name you. Now that we are into our second half of pregnancy we are now ready to spend the next 20 weeks getting to know you and preparing for you. Daddy and Mommy are so happy that you did so well on the first half of the pregnancy and you hit all your major milestones!

   You may ask us one day why we chose to name you Savannah...well, it was really the first name we really agreed on! After coming up with several possibilities...we both kept going back to Savannah. When we think of Savannah...we think of a serene, sweet, and calm scenery but with a big statement. Since we've gotten to know you...you have exactly been that. You never gave Mommy any morning sickness or troubles and every time we see you at the doctors or hear your heart beat you put us at ease with being so cooperative. But then there were times on the ultrasound you would suck your thumb with one arm behind your head, do a summer sault or stick your tongue out at us. You are our Sweet Savannah but know you are going to make a big difference in everyone's lives.

  Not only have you made our family whole but you are the true combination of an Emery and Manalo. Both your grandparents and aunties love you to pieces already! Our family and friends have never been so excited for us...and it's all because of you. We've waited for you for so long and though it was a rocky road to get here...you have given us comfort, peace, joy and more love.

So, our Sweet Savannah...we cannot wait to get to know you more these next 20 weeks. I love that you and I are the only ones that can feel each other. Daddy has been eagerly waiting for him to feel you kick...but for now I like our little secret dates!

 We love you and cannot wait for you to give love to all the people around you. We cannot wait to hold you and look into your sweet eyes and have your little fingers wrap around ours. Until then we are enjoying preparing for your big appearance!
